Members of the United States Coast Guard have confirmed a boat accident at Sandy Hook Bay off Spermaceti Cove on Sunday.
Two victims were rescued from the water after two boats collided in Sandy Hook Bay around 1 p.m. The accident left one of the boats capsized, leaving the two people in the water.
The U.S. Coast Guard, along with emergency medical personnel from Leonardo and members of the Atlantic Highlands EMS assisted in the rescue.
