Patch's Steve Rogers was fortunate enough to spend time with about 80 war vets during a rededication ceremony of the Battle of the Bulge Memorial from Fort Monmouth to Middletown's Thorne Middle School, in honor of fallen WW II soldier Cpl. Bud Thorne.
Thorne was raised on the property, which was a farm when he was growing up.
He captured some memorable images and quotes from some of the last of the WW II survivors.
