Brookdale to Host Paralegal Convention

The Second Annual Central Jersey Paralegal Convention will be
held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the Warner Student Life
Center, Brookdale Community College, 765 Newman Springs Rd. The event is open
to anyone interested in the paralegal field, including students, legal
secretaries and paralegals. Registration is $25 if received by Sept. 13, $30 if
received by Sept. 20 and $35 if paid at the door.



 



Featured will be
sessions on the different types of law, a presentation by the New Jersey Legal
Training Academy on paralegal certification and a luncheon session presented by
working paralegals called, “A Day in the Life.” Information will also be
available concerning technology and graduate tracks in paralegal training.
Former Monmouth County Prosecutor John Kaye will give the closing address.
