Holmdel's First Guided Cemetery Tour

Holmdel Historical Society
Presents Holmdel's first guided tour through 3 landlocked cemeteries in the Pleasant Valley section of Holmdel. Tour the Schanck-Covenhoven  Cemetery, Irish Catholic Cemetery & African-American Cemetery, visit the graves of Revolutionary Patriots, an African-American Civil War Veteran and rare pre-1800 gravestone art.
The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, along with President Lincoln, and several other Civil War Re-enactors from the George A. Custer Camp #17 will do a special ceremony for the 2 African-American Civil War veterans buried there, including a gun salute.

Tickets  $10.00/person        or      $15.00/family

Please wear long pants and proper shoes, no sandals or flip-flops
