Middletown Township Public Schools Facilities Referendum

The Board of Education approved a voter referendum to issue $19.3 million in bonds to address critical facilities needs. The remainder of the $32.2 million cost of these projects will be funded by $12.9 million in state grants.
Voting on the referendum will take place from 4 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. The referendum must be approved by voters in order for the district to obtain its share of the funding of these projects and receive the grant money. Local taxpayer cost would then be reduced by 40% through the state approved grants.  Please see the district website, www.middletownk12.org, for more information on the referendum projects.
