Read to a Dog @ the Library!  This program is a great way to improve the literacy skills of children.  It encourages children to
read by providing a non-judgmental listener in our furry friends.

Independent readers in Grades K-5 will read to a certified therapy dog

for ten minutes.

Read to a Dog will take place in the Children’s Quiet Reading Area at 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown, NJ 07748 on the second Tuesday of each month from 7-8pm.   There will also be an afternoon session on the third Wednesday of each month from 4-4:45pm.  Pre-registration @mtpl.org is required.

Funding for the library's public programs comes from the generous support of

the Middletown Township Public Library Foundation, Inc.
