S.O.S.(Save our School) - Sandy Hook Child Care Center Gift Auction

When Hurricane Sandy hit

the Jersey Shore, we were all affected. Some of us have rebuilt, while

others are still wondering what the future holds. Our little non-profit school on Sandy Hook was closed for 7 1/2 months and just reopened on

April 29, 2013. Being closed for over 7 months has really taken a toll

on our school financially.

For over thirty years, our mission

has been to provide a one of a kind learning experience for the children

of our community. Nestled inside

historic Sandy Hook National Park, our environment is our curriculum.

Our small, non-profit, parent-run center offers affordable child-care to

our local families and an unparalleled learning environment for our

children.

In order to help us get back on our feet, and to

continue our mission, we have planned our first ever gift auction and

fundraiser for Friday, September 27, 2013at 6PM at the Port Monmouth

VFW at 1 Veterans Lane, Port Monmouth, NJ 07758.
