There is no cover charge. There will be prizes, drink specials, $2 domestic bottles, 50/50s, raffles, and live music during the fundraising event.

Proceeds from the event will support the Blue Valor Motorcycle Run, a group of motorcyclists who will ride in honor of fallen police officers. The officers' 226-mile trip will span from Ground Zero to Washington, D.C., ending at the its National Law Enforcement Memorial.

The inaugural charity ride will be held May 12, 2011, to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. It will also bring recognition to the Washington D.C. memorial, which pays tribute to all officers lost in the line of duty each year.

You may also inquire at the fundraiser on how you can help the Foundation and join the inaugural ride.

You don't have to ride in the race to support the cause. Needed volunteers include: medical/EMT team members, motorcycle mechanics, welcome and departure party members, hotel check-in coordinators, rest-stop refreshment helpers, photographers, and more!

For more information, please visit the Kenneth Tietjen Memorial Foundation website to download an application to ride in the run, or to volunteer your support for the ride.
