A free dogs-only rabies clinic will be hosted in Middletown next week, officials announced.
The Saturday, Jan. 11 clinic will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Croydon Hall Gym, 900 Leonardville Rd. All dogs must be accompanied by an adult and must be on a leash or in a carrier, officials said.
Residents can register their dogs and have licenses mailed to them--cash payments will result in a one week wait, while check payments will take 20 days, according to the township.

Officials cautioned that residents should check ahead of the program for cancellations should inclement weather prevent the clinic from operating. If weather conditions are poor, call 732-615-2097, 732-615-2094 or check the township website for additional information.
