Donations Needed for Hurricane Sandy Victims in Monmouth County

Drop off donations for Hurricane Sandy victims at Thompson Park in Lincroft, NJ. First Aid equipment, underwear and cleaning supplies are among the items that are most urgently needed.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management opened a donation drop-off center at Thompson Park at 805 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, New Jersey.  As of today, here are some of the items that are most urgently needed:

  • First Aid Equipment
  • Cleaning Supplies 
  • Batteries
  • Can Openers
  • Baby Supplies (Especially diapers)
  • New Socks
  • New Underwear (Especially for adults)
  • Geriatric Diapers
  • Boxes
  • New Clothing

Donations are accepted from dawn until dusk. If you’re interested in volunteering at the drop-off site, call 732-842-4000 EXT 4000, or drop by at 805 Newman Springs Road to sign up for a shift.

Note- Thompson Park is a donation site only. Donated items will be sorted and taken to three distribution sites across Monmouth County.
