Another ‘Something-New’ in the Ideal Beach Neighbohrood

In an effort to further present an effective 'Neighborhood Watch presence', the Ideal Beach Neighborhood of North Middletwon has a 'new tradition'.

In an effort to further present an effective Neighborhood Watch presence in the Ideal Beach Neighborhood of North Middletown, as well as display neighborhood pride, the Ideal Beach Community Association has established a ‘new tradition’.

Ushered in with the Memorial Day holiday week-end, the IBCA started displaying symbolic ribbon decorations on its Neighborhood Watch signs that are distributed throughout the community.  The ribbons are a great opportunity to highlight the strength and presence of the community’s Watch Program.  Faded Watch signs in communities with no backing are meaningless.  The Ideal Beach Watch Program is strong and growing.  The ribbon decorations placed on the Ideal Beach Community Watch signs will show up at holidays and at significant community dates throughout the year.  The IBCA chose Memorial Day as their first display of ribbons for its honor and deserving stature.  Additionally, the holiday is an opportunity to show national pride and reverence as well as community pride; and finally, it is recognized as the kick-off to the summer season…. and what could be more emblematic of summer in a great coastal community such as the Ideal Beach community?

The IBCA is very proud to offer this newest expression of vitality.  Other offerings include a newly-established monthly Neighborhood Watch Newsletter as well as a monthly Inspiration Sheet established in the fall of 2011 offering selected images of architecture, seasonal décor, curb appeal, and all matter of creative home ideas and tips.
