Video of March 4, 2013 Middletown Township Committee Meeting

This is a very brief workshop meeting. There was some discussion regarding a Hazard Mitigation Grant the Township will be applying for to assist Hurricane Sandy victims. It was said funds would not be available for 12-18 months.

A plan to continue to rake vegetation and treat it with herbicides on Shadow Lake was proposed. Although this has been done in years past, its' effectiveness could not be stated.

The ordinance introduced in January to regulate building heights in flood prone areas will be modified to conform to the State law and reintroduced for adoption.

Committee members had no comments, except for the mayor who had many social events to report on.
