A Blessed Way to Start the Year – MTRS Annual Grandparent's Tea

On Friday, September 27, 2013, MTRS held their annual Grandparent’s Tea, bringing together generations of families. This year the event could really be called Grandparent’s Day as activities were planned for the entire day.  The attendees started the morning with a mass officiated by Fr. Lago at St. Agnes Church and then moved to the parish center for the tea and cookies. In the afternoon, there was the new addition to this year’s event - a showing of Alice in Wonderland at the Atlantic Highland’s Movie Theater.

Many, many thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Grandparent’s Tea such a success. We had over 330 grandparents and students in attendance during the tea and over 100 joining us for the movie.  A very special thanks goes to Mr. Rast who generously allowed us to use the theater to take a trip to Wonderland.
