About the league: Seasons run in the fall and spring and generally last around a month to a month and a half, with games two to three nights a week. We play a regular season consisting of 8-12 games (depending on gym availability) and then a short playoffs and finally a championship, where the finalists compete for a replica Stanley Cup. Each season ends with an All-Star Game and a visit from a former New Jersey Devils player and mascot, where they sign autographs, talk to the players, and then shoot around with them (the past has featured Jim Dowd, Grant Marshall, and Bruce Driver). We play our games right on the gym floor, so no skating required, and all of our equipment is supplied by the Devils. Registration is free-- the only fee is for the team t-shirt. No previous hockey knowledge or experience is required to sign up.
