Port Monmouth Skatepark Being Torn Down For What?

This morning young Cooper Kelly was skateboarding at the Port Monmouth Skatepark on his day off from school. An hour into his session Middletown workers showed up and kicked him out. They informed him that they will be dismantling the only skatepark in town next week.

Middletown, NJ has had the Port Monmouth Skatepark closed longer then it was open. Every day the kids skate there, no matter what. There is not another skatepark in Middletown they can go to. There is no where for them to skateboard, BMX or ride their scooters. 

Middletown, NJ rather spend money destroying a park that actually gets used then to spend money making it better to use.
