We live in E. Brunswick and after Sandy we went without power for 9 days. No heat or lights and all 3 refrigeration units gone. All that food wasted. When will J.C.P & L. learn to put these lines underground as they need replacing. To avoid this problem in the future we bought a used motorhome which is fully equipped, and we purchased a generator converted to natural gas which we had plenty of thanks to P.S.E. & G. We got no help from the government except for bottled water and insurance only covered the food loss and damage to our roof. My advice is timeless and also the motto of the Boy Scouts of America, Be Prepared!
