The Oak Hill Academy Spelling Bee was held on Thursday, January 9th, this year by our moderator, Firfth Grade English Teacher, Mrs. O'Connor. Over 35 students participated and two sixth graders came out on top! They are Aron Wiener, out First Place Winner, and Stephanie Zhou, the Second Place Finisher. Aron will be move on to represent Oak Hill Academy at the Regional competition of the Scripps National Spelling Bee held at Monmouth University on March 17th. We hope that he will have a bit of "Irish Luck" that day.
