Bill Connolly, a Carpenter, Dies at 61

Connolly lived in Middletown and Highlands.

William T. "Bill" Connolly, 61, of Highlands, NJ, died on Monday, September 24, 2012 in Newark. He was born in Bronx, NY and lived in Middletown and Highlands for most of his life. Bill was a self employed carpenter all of his life. Bill was a graduate of Middletown High School class of 1969. In his younger years Bill loved surfing and he attended the original Woodstock Music Festival in 1969. Bill was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Mary Connolly; 2 sons - Jason Connolly of GA, and Matthew Connolly of Highlands; daughter - Mary Connolly of Union Beach; 2 brothers - James Connolly of Avalon, and Daniel Connolly of Atlantic Highlands; 2 sisters - Kathleen Woods of Atlantic Highlands, and BillieAnn Powers of Jackson; and 6 grandchildren - Justin, Brooklyn, Aiden, Eryn, Emmy, and Taylor.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, September 28th from 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown, NJ. For more information, to send condolences or for directions, please visit www.pflegerfh.com.
