Christopher Shawn Jackson, 45, died June 24, 2014 surrounded by family and friends at his home in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
Born February 2, 1969, in Red Bank to Karen and Richard Jackson, Shawn graduated from Middletown North in 1987, and as his friends and family know, he loved to cruise the Jersey Shore on his beloved motorcycle and in his Trans Am.
When he wasn't cruising the Jersey Shore, he was an avid wrestler and he was very proud of his varsity letters and jackets.
Shawn served his country as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. Reserve.
Throughout his life, he loved to work with his hands and had a career as a skilled concrete cutter for Union 731.
Married to wife Roberta for 18 years, Shawn was a proud father to his daughter Samantha Grace, 11. He loved going to Disney World with his wife and daughter and created wonderful memories with them that they will always treasure.
Always a strong strapping man, Shawn was quick to help others in the community, worked tirelessly behind the scenes and he spent endless hours helping his neighbors after Hurricane Sandy.
Shawn is survived by his wife Roberta, daughter Samantha, parents Karen and Richard and brother Richard.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1735 Route 35 in Middletown, NJ 732-671-3001.
