Eileen F. Sininsky, Member of Port Monmouth VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Dies at 87

Services are scheduled for Sunday and Monday

Eileen F. Sininsky, 87, of Whiting, passed peacefully on Jan. 23, 2014 in Whiting.

She was born in Jersey City and lived in Middletown for many years. Eileen worked as a Manager for Sylvettes Dress Shop in Middletown. She was a member of VFW Post 2179 Ladies Auxiliary in Port Monmouth and Companions of the Forest of America.

Surviving are her sister, Del Infantino and husband Phillip; brother, Joseph McCurnin and wife Janet; daughters, Sharon Coates and husband Bud; Denise Popan and husband Duke; son, Derek Sininsky and wife Laura; 8 grandchildren, Eileen Coates, Douglas Coates, Sandy Bonilla, Brian Kenny, Ryan, Tyler, Kyle and Mackenzie Sininsky; 5 great-grandchildren, Delaney and Christian Bonilla, Peyton and Logan Kenny and Camryn Coates.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Sininsky in 2004; brother, James McCurnin and parents, James and Anna McCurnin.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Monday, Jan. 27 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catherine's Church, 110 Bray Ave., North Middletown. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
