Funeral Services For Louis Crisitello Sr., 62, of Hazlet

Crisitello, a landscaper, died in a pedestrian accident on Main Street, Middletown on Monday.

Louis Crisitello, Sr., 62, of Hazlet, NJ, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012. He was born in Newark, NJ and loved to return there weekly to visit local restaurants with friends and family.

Louis owned a landscaping and lawn maintenance company for 30 years. He was a member of Holy Family Parish for over 35 years. Louis lived for his wife and family, he adored his children and grandchildren and loved to spend time with all of them. Louis was also an animal lover, the family always had dogs to play with and take care of.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Marilyn Crisitello; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Perry Merse, and Laura and Joseph Petzold; his son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Allison Crisitello, Jr.; his five grandchildren, PJ and Paris Merse and Joey, Olivia, and Leah Petzold; and his sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Anthony Santos.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 21 at 8:15 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Friday, September 21, 2012 at 9:30 am at Holy Family RC Church, 727 Hwy 36, Hazlet. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Keyport.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
