Barbara Rice, 65, of Lincroft passed away on April 16, 2013 after an 8-year battle with lung cancer.
Born in Brooklyn, Barbara made her own way in the 1970s and 80s working her way to Vice President, Policy Owners Service at MetLife Security.
It was there she met her husband Craig, where they married and moved to southern California. Barbara then focused her energies on starting a family and raising a son. She left a lasting impression on all those around her, and will be sorely missed.

Surviving her is her husband of 26 years Craig and her son Bradley, both of Lincroft; and her sister and brother-in-law Donna and William Winiarski of Delaware.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday April 19 from 10:30 am to noon at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Rd. Middletown, NJ. Rev. Joseph Hein will preside at an 11:20 a.m. service.
