Obituary: Carmen Cardona, 81, Port Monmouth Resident

Carmen Cardona, 81, of Port Monmouth died on Oct. 29, 2013 in Red Bank. 

She was born in Ribeira, Spain. Carmen was a homemaker and a loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law: Juan and Oliva Cardona of West Chester, PA; daughter and son-in-law: Maria and Francisco Castineira of Port Monmouth, NJ; five grandchildren: Frankie, Sandra, Diana, Melissa, and Natalie; and five great-grandchildren: Savana, Juliana, Lia, Lilian and Vivian. 

Carmen was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Cardone (1987) .

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Rd., Middletown. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
