Obituary: Dorothy May Weining Hoffman, 86

Hoffman lived in Port Monmouth for the past 50 years.

 

Dorothy May Weining Hoffman, 86, of Port Monmouth, died Monday, August 6 in Red Bank. She was born in Newark and lived in East Orange moving to Port Monmouth 50 years ago.

Hoffman worked as a homemaker, according to an obituary published in the Asbury Park Press. She loved music, was a Mets Fan, had great sense of humor and loved old western movies .

Surviving are Hoffman's son Clifford Hoffman of Port Monmouth, her daughter-in-law Donna Hoffman of Port Monmouth, a grandson CJ Hoffman, brother Julius Weining of Fla; and beloved friend and aid Michelle Madina of the VNA.

Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, George H. Hoffman in 2012 and a son, Barry Hoffman 2011, two brothers, Arthur Weining and Robert Weining and three sisters, Eleanor McDermott, Harriet McCullough and Edith Weining.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday August 10,. at 10:00am at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown.
