Obituary: Former Middletown Resident James Owen Gaynor, 84

Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday

James Owen Gaynor, 84, of Tinton Fall, died on Nov. 14, 2013, in Neptune. 

He was born in East Orange, and lived in Middletown before moving to Tinton Falls 4 years ago.

James received his Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from RPI in 1951 and his Master's in Engineering from Steven's Institute of Technology in 1963.  He worked as a chemical engineer for M&Q Plastics, Freehold.

Surviving are his daughter, Bonnie Sachnis of Secaucus; daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Alan Conly of Monaghan, Ireland; granddaughter, Hillary Conly; grandson, James Conly; great-granddaughters,  Madison and Alexa Conly and a very dear friend, Betty DeTuro.

James was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Hunt Gaynor in 1993.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Atrium Room at Seabrook Villiage, 3000 Essex Rd., Tinton Falls.
