Obituary: Jean K. Wheatley, 88, of Middletown
The Shadow Lake Village resident worked in Bamberger's in Eatontown.
Jean K Wheatley, 88, of Middletown died Monday, October 22, 2012. She was born in New York City and spent the early years of her life there. Jean attended the University of Michigan where she met and married her husband Bill in 1945. Jean and Bill moved to Middletown in 1962 and spent the past 13 years in Shadow Lake Village. Jean worked as a sales associate in domestics for Bamberger's in Eatontown.
Surviving are her husband, William (Bill) Wheatley; daughter, Marsha McGovern; daughter, Janis Grundmann; son, Richard Wheatley; daughter, Lynn Stone; grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, William, Monica, Erica and Russell; great-grandchild Tyler.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 from 9-11 am at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday at 11 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
