Obituary: Jo Anne R. Lennon, 65
Visitation to be held today at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home.
Jo Anne R. Lennon, 65, of Highlands, NJ, passed away Wednesday, August 15 in Red Bank. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Middletown before moving to Highlands. Jo Anne loved being with her many friends and sharing a good laugh. She had so many joys in her life, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Jo Anne was extremely proud of her three children and adored being "Nanny" to her seven grandchildren. She will be missed by her many dear friends and will forever be in the hearts of all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Lennon; her two sons and daughters-in law, James and Jennifer Lennon of Red Bank, and Craig and Kelli Lennon of Rumson; her daughter and son-in-law, Bridget and Daniel Duffy of Hoboken; her sister, Bernadette Toomey of Manhattan; and her seven grandchildren, Patricia, Maura, James, and Margaret Lennon, Grace and Brady Lennon, and Cecilia Duffy.
Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bernadette Dunne; and her aunt, Regina Donovan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and 7p.m. and 9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road in Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Saturday, August 18 at a time to be announced at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 121 Miller St. in Highlands. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown, NJ.
