John J. Dennis, 86, of Middletown, NJ, died on April 6, 2014 in Red Bank. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and moved to Middletown in 1960. John owned Dennis Beauty Salon on South Laurel Av. in Hazlet. He served in the US Army during WWII.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Josephine Dennis, five sons, Jerry Dennis of New York, John B. Dennis of Long Branch, Roland Dennis of the Philippines, Val J. Dennis of Green Bay, WI, Paul Dennis of Galloway Twp. and daughter, Marianne Dennis of Illinois.

John was preceded in death by his son, Jude Dennis.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 8:30-9:30 am at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown.

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10 am at St. Catherine's Church, 110 Bray Ave., N. Middletown. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
