Obituary: Lifelong Belford Resident Edith Lovett Bowker, 82

Edith Lovett Bowker, 82, of Belford, died on Oct. 16 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home in Holmdel. 

She was born in Belford, and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 2179, Port Monmouth; BPOE Elks Lodge No. 2179, Belford and American Legion Post 338, Leonardo.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ronald Howard and grandson and his wife David and Darlene Long.

Edith was preceded in death by her husbands William Lovett and Howard Bowker and brother, John Johnson Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Rd. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bayview Cemetery, Leonardo.
