Obituary: Longtime Middletown Resident Jennie Cebalo, 87

Cebalo lived in Middletown for 20 years

The following was submitted by the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home:

Jennie Cebalo (nee DiVita), 87, passed away peacefully on Oct. 21 with family by her side.

She was born in 1926 in Hoboken and lived most of her life in Jersey City until finally settling in Middletown in 1993.

Jennie is survived by her four loving children, son and daughter-in-law, Marin and Jan Cebalo; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Janeth Cebalo; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Dave DeMauro; and daughter and son-in-law, Toni Ann and Brian Kiernan. Jennie is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Janna, Catherine, Nicholas, Matthew, Kristin, Michael, Mackenzie, Alex, and Eric.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Rd., Middletown.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:15 a.m. at St. Mary's Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., Middletown. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
