Marie L. Wittnebert, 96, of Lincroft, died peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at Monmouth Medical Center.
Marie was born in Rahway to Edward and Mabel (Haney) Dunn. She grew up in North Plainfield, NJ. She was a graduate of North Plainfield High School. After high school, Marie attended secretarial school in Elizabeth. She then was employed by Jersey Central Railroad in New York City.
Marie was predeceased by her parents and in 2009 by her husband of 59 years, Whitford Wittnebert.
Marie is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Mathew Gutkowski and her beloved only granddaughter, Jennifer, all of Oakhurst.
Private services will be held. Entombment will take place at Woodbine Cemetery Mausoleum, Oceanport.
Memorial donations may be made in Marie’s memory to the charity of your choice.
