Obituary: Tiffani Amber Lindlar, 18, Who Grew Up in Keansburg

Tiffani and her family were displaced by Hurricane Sandy. A year later, she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, pediatric brain cancer, according to her story on GoFundMe.com

Miss Tiffani Amber Lindlar, 18, of Keansburg and the Dayton section of South Brunswick Township, died Friday, July 4, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.

Born in New Brunswick, Tiffani grew up in Keansburg, NJ and had been a resident of Dayton for the past 1 and 1/2 years. [Editor's note: Read her story on GoFundMe.com]

A recent graduate of South Brunswick Township High School, Tiffani dreamed of going on to the Culinary Institute of America. She was always smiling and enjoyed laughing with family and friends. Tiffani was a member of the Middlesex County 4-H Club and enjoyed going to the Jersey shore. 

Surviving are her parents, Ernest G. & Victoria (Davis) Lindlar with whom she lived; her brothers, Daniel & James Lindlar; her grandparents, Marie Davis of Snowflake, Arizona, Ernie Lindlar of Ohio, Kathleen Waterson of Pennsylvania; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 8 pm on Monday, July 7th at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Embrace Kids Foundation, 121 Somerset, Street, New Brunswick.
