Obituary: Victoria Hoffman, Devoted Mother and Wife, 68

Services are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday

The following was submitted by the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home:

Victoria Hoffman, 68, of Belford, died on Oct. 26, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.

She was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ and attended St. Michael's High School there. Victoria met her husband, Ben, at the Joseph Dixon Crucible Company and she also worked as a purchasing assistant for Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken until they started their family.

Victoria's hobby was her family and she was very devoted to caring for each of them, giving of herself so that those she loved would be healthy and happy.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Ben Hoffman; her son and his fiancé, Douglas Hoffman and Jennifer Van Sickle; her brother Patrick Montano and his wife Mary; her nieces and nephews; her many cousins; her brother-in-law, Ronald Hoffman; and her sister-in-law, Sharon Stokes.

Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy and Elvira Montano; and her daughter, Stacy Ann Norcia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Thursday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine's Church, 110 Bray Ave., North Middletown. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.
