Vincent A. DeJulio, Longtime Middletown Resident, Dies at 83

Services are scheduled for Friday and Saturday

The following was submitted by the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home:

Vincent A. DeJulio, 83, of Middletown died on Jan. 1, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. 

He was born in Brooklyn to Anthony and Rose DeJulio and lived in Middletown since 1969. Vincent worked as a Salesman for Kirsch Co. He was a Communicant of St. Mary's Parish.

Surviving are his spouse of 61 years, Nancy Gioia DeJulio; his son and daughter-in-law, Vincent and Marina DeJulio; his three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Kevin Matejka, Debbie and Tony Dura, and Vicki and Michael Hanlon; his grandchildren, Anthony Dura, Nicholas Dura, Christopher Dura, Jackie Matejka, Kevin Matejka, Jr., Dana Hanlon, Michelle Hanlon, Carissa DeJulio, Dante DeJulio, and Rafael DeJulio; and his sister, Marie Mahoney.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Rose (nee Panteleon).

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Saturday, Jan. 4 at St. Mary's Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., Middletown at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, Vincent would appreciate donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
