RESULTS: Two Delis Are Patch Favorites

Taliercio's and Slaters Topped Our Survey

Congratulations to Taliercio's Gourmet Deli & Catering, on Route 35 in Middletown and Slater's Deli and Caterers on Route 36 in Leonardo for emerging as the Middletown Patch favorites in this week's Readers' Choice deli survey.

Patch's "Readers' Choice" feature allows you to vote and comment on your favorites in a variety of local business and service categories. This week's category was your favorite deli.

Voting in our unscientific poll ended at noon Friday but you are invited to add reviews of your favorites to their listings in our directory.

You have a couple of deli's in Atlantic Highlands, why not mention The Sand Witch Shop in Highlands. I eat there all summer long and it is great!

Oh, I am so glad to see that you are preserving history. My husband & I visited your town aRead More couple of weeks ago. My 9th Great Grandfather Thomas Whitlock is buried in the Old First Baptist Church yard. I was honored to stand on the porch of the home he helped build and lived in at Shoal Harbor. The name has changed to the Wilson-Seabrook House and now the Bayshore Activities Center. Wow! Too bad all the museum pieces were removed. I would love to have seen them.
