SANDY RECOVERY ASSISTANCE MEETING 6-25

I would just like to know how our mayor could agree to have an informational  meeting on a weekday for sandy recovery efforts.  The residents of middletown are facing enough road blocks without Governor Christie and our own town mayor adding to them.  I, like so many other residents, have take off enough time because of Sandy and cannot afford to lose any more time out of work.  YOUR residents are in desperate need of help and it absolutely absurd to have such an important meeting when the majority of your people cannot attend.  Was this your intention all along by having a meeting on a weekday? 

The residents of Port Monmouth are in desperate need of answers to many questions.  The number (855-726-3946) you have listed for homeowners with questions is useless.  I called with three questions and the operator could not answer any of them.  How is this helping us?  If anything it is hinding our efforts to get our homes rebuilt along with our lives.  WE NEED YOUR HELP, NOT YOUR IGNORANCE OF THE SITUATION.  I bet it's nice and comfy on the dry side of town now isn't it.  Come on over to the wet side and see the devasation that continues to part of so many peoples lives day in and day out!!!!!
