It's St. Patrick's Day. Do You Know Where Your Festivities Are?

Music and pubs and parades, oh my! And your suggestions ...

Patch hunted around for St. Patrick's Day events in Middletown and came up with nothing, surprisingly. So we reached into our neighboring towns for some recommendations. What do you say? Got a favorite place to be on St. Pat's? Know of an Irish band? Give a shout out in the comment section below and tell everyone about it! I the meantime, check out some of our nearby picks.

Parades, rain or shine ...

2011 Keyport St. Patrick’s Day Parade Saturday, March 19: Beginning at 1 p.m. just next to St. Joseph's on Maple Place, this parade route stretches all the way along Maple Place, down Broad Street, turning at West Front Street and will end at Fireman's Park.  Expected to top last year’s march, 2011’s parade should be an extravagant show of Irish pride.
