Arresting Update: Marijuana Possession Under 50 Grams

The following information was obtained directly from Middletown Township Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

arrested the following people recently on charges of possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and contempt of court:

Christine Boffa, 20, of Merrick Court, Middletown, was arrested on Jan. 27, by Police Officer Janine Kennedy and Cpl. Bernie Chenoweth, and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

She was released pending a court date.

Adam Salama, 21, of Selma Lane, Hazlet, was arrested on Jan. 27, by Police Officer Janine Kennedy and Cpl. Bernie Chenoweth, and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

He was released pending a court date.

William Cross, 20, of York Avenue, in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on Jan.  27, by Cpl. Bernie Chenoweth and Police Officer Janine Kennedy, and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

He was released pending a court date.

Matthew Many, 22, of Parsons Road, East Brunswick, was arrested on Jan. 25, by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein, and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the East Brunswick Municipal Court.

He was released after posting bail.

 

*The “possession of under 50 grams of marijuana” charge is a disorderly persons offense.
