Arresting Update: Minor Marijuana Possession

The following information was obtained directly from Middletown Township Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.

arrested the following people recently on marijuana possession charges:

Justin Lewallen, 19, of Division Street, in the section of , was arrested on Jan. 31, by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein, and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

Cameron Maletto, 18, of Ravine Road, Red Bank, was arrested on Jan. 31, by Patrolman James Beirne, and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

On Jan. 30, Patrolman Greg Buhowski arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Atlantic Highlands, and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Andrew Laffey, 30, of Atlantic Avenue, Long Branch, was arrested on Jan. 30, by Patrolman Frank Mazza and Patrolman John Mele, of the Quality Of Life Unit. Both were charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

* Possession of under 50 grams of marijuana is a disorderly persons offense.
