Atlantic Highlands Man Endangered Child in Middletown, Indictment Charges

Indictment handed up by grand jurors last week

An Atlantic Highlands man was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on child endangerment and aggravated assault charges stemming from a Sept. 12 incident in Middletown.

Thomas Boyd, 37, of Thousand Oaks Drive is charged with endangering and assaulting the child, who was under 18 years old and in his care, according to the indictment handed up last week.

Both charges are second degree crimes.

Detective Daniel Sullivan made the arrest in September, according to police. Boyd initially was held on $25,000 bail with a 10 percent option.
