Atlantic Highlands Man Indicted on Failure to Register as a Sex Offender Charge

Investigators say he failed to register with the Middletown Police Department

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict an Atlantic Highlands man on a charge he allegedly failed to register as a sex offender in Middletown.

Police say that Mark Nunamacher, 36, was convicted of sexual assault on May 5, 1992 and July 7, 1992 in Middlesex County and as a result is required to re-verify his address annually with local law enforcement. According to police, Nunamacher allegedly failed to do so between April 2008 and April 2012.

Nunamacher is charged with failure to register as a convicted sex offender, a fourth degree crime.
