Belford Couple Accused of Selling Drugs Near the Henry Hudson Trail

A grand jury agreed Wednesday that Richard and April Weber should stand trial for charges.

Richard G. Weber, 42, and April A. Weber, 36, of Church Street in Belford were indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on eight counts related to their alleged possession and selling of oxycodone and/or cocaine near Henry Hudson Trail on February 15. 

The couple is also charged with of endangering the welfare of three young children, aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. 

The Grand Jury's vote is a formal charge, not a conviction. The defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
