Body of Missing Woman Found; Estranged Husband Charged with Murder

The body of Viridiana Beltran-Gomez was discovered buried off of the Garden State Parkway

The body of a Red Bank woman missing since May 13 was discovered buried off of the Garden State Parkway at mile marker 119 near the Aberdeen exit. Her estranged husband has been charged with the murder, authorities said.

According to the Associated Press, the body of 26-year-old Red Bank resident Viridiana Beltran-Gomez was discovered buried about 100 feet off of the Parkway near the Aberdeen exit. Oscar Prior-Ramirez, hospitalized for an undisclosed reason, has been charged with her murder. Bail for the 31-year-old Eatontown resident was set at $1.5 million.

According to authorities, Beltran-Gomez was the mother of two small children. She was last seen leaving Sienna Grill where she had worked for just three days. More details about the incident were not immediately known.
