Bon Jovi Burglar Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison
Nicholas Tracy, 22, robbed three homes in the Navesink River Road area.
The Beachwood man who robbed Jon Bon Jovi’s Middletown home received a five-year prison sentence Friday.
Nicholas Tracy, 22, burglarized three homes in the Navesink River Road area on March 14, April 1 and April 3, 2011, according to a press release issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. Tracy stole jewelry and other items valued at over $300,000 from the homes, prosecutors said.
Tracy was arrested on April 13, 2011 after Middletown Township police responded to another burglary and discovered him in the home. Further investigation led to the discovery of some of the stolen property, according to the press release.

Tracy pleaded guilty before Judge Ronald L. Reisner on Sept. 4, 2012 to three second-degree theft charges and a third-degree burglary charge.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant Prosecutor Sean J. Brennan. Tracy was represented by James Gerrow, Jr. of Hainesport.
