Police: Belford Man Swipes Woman's Debit Card, Threatens Her To Keep Quiet

The 24-year old winds up arrested by police, charged with credit card crime and tampering with a witness.

Police say a 24-year old Belford man fraudulently used a woman's debit card in a WaWa in Leonardo, and then told the victim he would plant drugs in her car if she went to police.

Christopher M. Rosado, whose last known address is Main Street in Belford, was arrested on March 14 after he used a PNC Debit card belonging to the woman to buy $29.17 worth of merchandise at a WaWa.

According to police, when he thought his victim might tell police about the incident, he attempted to induce the victim to keep silent or he would hide narcotics in her car and get her arrested.
