Fatal Fire Engulfs a House, Neighborhood in Tragedy

Following the tragic deaths of four in a fatal on Statesir Place that engulfed the Banovich home in the early morning hours of April 19, Middletown firefighters tended to the scene as police and investigators went about the task of determining a cause. 

New Jersey Natural Gas was on the site securing and cutting off lines to the home.  News crews from all local major agencies were present reporting on the incident described as "devastating" by many. Neighbors gathered to offer support to one another, talk, mourn and remember. Some were strangers feeling helpless to help.
