Four Charged with Robbery in August in Middletown

The Middletown Township Police Department reported the following arrests between Aug. 12, 2013 and Aug. 29, 2013. An arrest does not indicate a conviction and all those charged should be presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Robbery, Theft & Burglary Charges

Samantha Chew, age 18, from Fox Avenue in Belford, NJ, arrested on August 13, 2013 by Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia for Conspiracy, Robbery, Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana.

Alexander Giuriceo, age 18, from Greenfield Way in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 13, 2013 for Theft. He was released pending a court date.

Salvatore Colletti, age 18, from Day Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 12, 2013 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Robbery, Conspiracy, Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance.

Michael Moore, age 18, from Walnut Street in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on August 12, 2013 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Robbery, Conspiracy, Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He was released after posting $10,000.00 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Gustavo Rodriguez, age 19, from Atlantic Avenue in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 12, 2013 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Robbery, Conspiracy, Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute. He was released after posting $20,000.00 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Christopher Kuhlmeier, age 42, from Center Avenue in Leonardo, NJ, arrested on August 15, 2013 for Theft and Criminal Mischief. He was held on $12,500.00 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Mario Castellano, age 48, from Main Street in Matawan, NJ, arrested on August 29, 2013 for Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief. He was released pending a court date.

Krystyn Eremita, age 22, from McGuire Court in Staten Island, NY, arrested on August 25, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Use of a Stolen Credit Card. He was released pending a court date.

Shoplifting

Vivian Tortoriello, age 64, from Beers Street in Keyport, NJ, arrested on August 13, 2013 by Corporal Richard Fusella for Shoplifting from the Kohl’s Store. She was released pending a court date.

William Zitzman, age 19, from Queens South Drive in Little Silver, NJ, arrested on August 15, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Shoplifting from the Kohls Store. He was released pending a court date.

Priscilla Margotta, age 18, from West 4th Street in Williamsport, PA, arrested on August 15, 2013 by Corporal Bernie Chenoweth for Shoplifting from the Kohls Store and Criminal Mischief. She was released pending a court date.

Josephine Trelford, age 49, from Kenneth Terrace in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 25, 2013 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield for Simple Assault and Obstructing the Administration of Law. She was held on $5,000.00 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Assault

Janette Conwell, age 26, from Harmony Road in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 12, 2013 by Patrolman Scott Davis for Simple Assault. She was released pending a court date.

Joseph Stanfield, age 27, from Magnolia Lane in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 12, 2013 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski for Simple Assault.  He was released pending a court date.

Patrick Conwell, age 36, from Harmony Road in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 12, 2103 by Patrolman Ricardo Cruz for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.

Nicole Doyle, age 19, from Royal Court in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 15, 2013 by Patrolman Charles Higgins for Simple Assault. She was released pending a court date.

William Karsanbas, age 22, from West Roosevelt Circle in Red Bank, NJ, arrested on August 15, 2013 by Patrolman Charles Higgins for Simple Assault. He was released pending a court date.

Alexandria Davis, age 26, from Hillside Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, arrested on August 20, 2013 by Patrolman Stephen Keller for Simple Assault and on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Monmouth Beach and Middletown Municipal Court. She was held on $2,500.00 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Albert Rosario, age 22, from Brunswick Street in Jersey City, NJ, arrested on August 24, 2013 by Patrolman David Crenshaw for Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and on a Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Union City Municipal Court. He was held on $65,000.00 bail set by Judge Jamie Perry of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Drug Possession

On August 14, 2013 Patrolman Adam Colfer arrested a 17 year old male juvenile from Middletown, NJ, for Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

Michael Cutler, age 25, from Harbor Way in Middletown, NJ, arrested on August 18, 2013 by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein for Eluding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing the Administration of Law and  He was held on $45,00.00 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Raymond Parker, age 24, from Walter Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on August 18, 2013 by Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia for Possession of Heroin, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana. He was held on $21,869.00 bail.

On August 26, 2013 Patrolman Daniel Benbrook arrested a 17 year old male juvenile from Belford, NJ, a 14 year old male juvenile from Leonardo, NJ, and a 16 year old female juvenile from Leonardo, NJ, for Under age Possession of Alcohol. All subjects were released pending a court date.

An 18-year-old from Atlantic Highlands, NJ, was arrested on August 26, 2013 by Patrolman Anthony Bumbico for Underage Possession of Alcohol. He was released pending a court date.

Other Alleged Crimes

JonPaul Debow, age 28, from North Shore Street in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on August 28, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Defiant Trespass. He was released pending a court date.

Robert Bohanan, age 26, from Myrtle Avenue in Keansburg, NJ, arrested on August 15, 2013 by Patrolman Adam Colfer for Violation of Intensive Supervision Program. He was held pending a court date.

Richard Nielsen, age 48, from Orchard Place in Port Monmouth, NJ, arrested on August 26, 2013 by Patrolman Ricardo Cruz on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $35,972.30 bail.

Douglas Schuster, age 40, from Heck Avenue in Ocean Grove, NJ, arrested on August 28, 2013 by Detective Kevin Gardiner for Forgery, Uttering Forgery and on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $3,442.00 bail.

Officers also charged eight individuals with driving while intoxicated.
