Middletown, NJ Police Blotter: Jan. 14-20

Charges of attempted murder, heroin possession, assault, shoplifting, and theft.

The following information was released by the Middletown Township Police Dept. on Jan. 21. The subjects were released pending a court date unless noted. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.   

Jan. 14: Jason Goodpaster, 31, from Central Ave. in Aberdeen was arrested by Ptl. Keith Hirschbein for violation of a court order. He was held on $25,000 bail with no 10% option set by Judge McGann.

Jan. 15: Robert Reuter, 18, from Chapel Hill Rd. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Anthony Bumbico for simple assault. He was held on $2,500 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Georgette Zilinski, 61, from Omega Court in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Michael Reuter for shoplifting from the Kohls Store.

Jan. 15: Nicholas Salvatore, 18, from Washington Ave. in Keansburg was arrested by Ptl. James Beirne for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

Jan. 16: Jaime Romerocastillo, 39, from Willow St. in Red Bank was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan for terroristic threats. He was held on bail.

Alex Bahr, 22, from Oakes Ave. in Belford was arrested by Ptl. Anthony Dellatacoma for criminal mischief and obstructing the administration of law. He was released after posting $2,000 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Jan. 17: Tyrik Haynes, 18, from Chance Drive in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan and Anthony Dellatacoma for attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and endangering the welfare of a child. He was held on $1,000,050 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Thomas Scully of the Monmouth County Superior Court. 

Jan. 17:  The Middletown Police Department Detective Bureau and Quality of Life Unit executed a search warrant at a Center Avenue home in the Belford section of Middletown. The warrant was a result of a month long investigation conducted by Detectives Kevin Gardiner and Laurence Schachtel and Officers Raymond Sofield and Richard Fulham into the sale of narcotics from the residence. Police recovered a significant quantity of heroin from home.

The warrant execution resulted in the arrests of Brianna Geerlof, 19, and Joshua Floyd, 19, who live at the residence, for possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, conspiracy to possess heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of hypodermic syringes and possession of drug paraphernalia. Geerlof was held on $15,000 bail with no 10% option and Floyd was held on $25,000 bail with no 10% option.

Police also charged Nicholas Muscenti, 20, from Hamilton Avenue in Leonardo with conspiracy to possess heroin with the intent to distribute. He was held on $15,000 bail with no 10% option.

Bail was set by Judge Richard English of the Monmouth County Superior Court. All subjects were being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold, NJ.

Jan. 19: Sidney Laguna, 42, from Seely Ave. in Keansburg was arrested by Ptl. James Beirne on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. As of Monday, he was being held pending a court date.

Keith Leahey, , 47, from Seaview Ave. in Long Branch was arrested by Ptl. Michael Reuter on a non-support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Tirrell Pinkett, 23, from Vassae Ave. in Newark was arrested by Ptl. Frank Mazza for disorderly conduct, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, hindering apprehension and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court. He was held on $150 bail.

Jan. 20: Michael Amitrani, 20, from Blanche Court in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. James Beirne for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. 

Dylan Difilippo-Campbell, 19, from Bayside Parkway in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. James Beirne for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Justin Duryea, 22, from Garfield Ave. in Keansburg was arrested by Ptl. Keith Hirschbein for receiving stolen property. As of Monday, he was being held at the county correctional facility on $15,000 bail.
