Middletown Police Blotter: Arrests for Shoplifting, Burglary, Drugs

The following are arrest records released by the Middletown Township Police Dept. Some include information from Monmouth County Superior Court. An arrest is not a conviction. 

Enricky Cosme-Cruz, 22, from Hudson Ave. in Middletown was arrested on June 3, 2014 by Officer Larissa Doriety on a Fugitive warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court for failure to appear in court in Dauphin County on Dec. 13 on charges of receiving stolen property. He was held on $100,000.00 bail.

Dennis Knapp, 43, from Highland Ave. in Leonardo was arrested on June 3, 2014 by Ptl. Jason Caruso for Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest, Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer and Terroristic Threats. He was held on $22,500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Michael Muller, 30, from Princeton St. in Red Bank was arrested on June 3, 2014 by Ptl. John Walsifer for Simple Assault. He was held on $2,500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Joshua Floyd, 20, from Highway 36 in Atlantic Highlands was arrested on June 1, 2014 by Ptl. Stephen Greenwood for Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing the Administration of Law, Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe and on a Violation of Probation warrant issued by the Union County Superior Court. He was held pending a court date. 

Joan Cappadona, 32, from Grove St. in Middletown was arrested on June 3, 2014 by Ptl. Ian May for Shoplifting from the Target Store and on Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Middletown and Holmdel Municipal Courts. She was held $2,943 bail.

Stephen Acquaviva, 37, from Bonnie Drive in Middletown was arrested on June 4, 2014 by Ptl. Jason Caruso for Harassment. He was held on $500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Phillip Slutter Jr, 46, from 8th St. in Belford was arrested on June 5, 2014 by Ptl. Adam Colfer for Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obstructing the Administration of Law. He was held on $15,000 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Matthew Rivera, 24, from Willow St. in Port Monmouth was arrested on June 4, 2014 by Ptl. Charles Higgins for Possession of over 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of over 50 Grams of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of Over 50 Grams of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute within 500 feet of a Public Park.

Huseyin Colak, 39, from Brookside Drive in Belford was arrested on June 4, 2014 by Ptl. Anthony Bumbico for Simple Assault. He was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

James Lamar, 28, from Ideal Ave. in Port Monmouth was arrested on June 7, 2014 by Ptl. Frank Mazza for Violation of a Court Order and Resisting Arrest. He was held on $2,500 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Phillip Petrone, 45, from Monmouth Parkway in Middletown was arrested on June 8, 2014 by Ptl. Greg Buhowski for Simple Assault. He was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.  

Andrew Smith, 28, from Highway 36 in Middletown was arrested on June 10, 2014 by Ptl. Raymond Sofield for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest. He was released after posting $11,000 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson. 

Philip Donnelly Jr, 53, from Highway 36 in Hazlet was arrested on June 12, 2014 by Corporal Anthony Gigante for Shoplifting. He was released pending a court date.

Vivian Tortoriello, 65, from Colgate Court in Hazlet was arrested on June 12, 2014 by Corporal Anthony Gigante for Shoplifting from the Kohls store. She was held on $2,500 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson. 

Matthew Drury, 28, from Emory Drive in Lincroft was arrested on June 12, 2014 by Ptl. Antonio Ciccone for Burglary, Criminal Attempt, Theft and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. He was held on $10,000 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson. 

Kevin Duffy, 20, from Park Ave. in Atlantic Highlands was arrested on June 12, 2014 by Ptl. Richard Raike for Theft. He was released pending a court date. 

Miguel Garced, 47, from Forest Ave. in Keansburg was arrested on June 14, 2014 by Ptl. Stephen Greenwood on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $1,571.64 bail.
