Middletown Police Blotter: August 6 - 9

Police make arrests for possession of heroin, Airsoft Guns, Xanax and more. Names of arrested parties and charges released by police Friday.

 Information as released by the Middletown Police Dept. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

JD Rockafellow, 23, from South Ave. in Atlantic Highlands was arrested on August 7 by Ptl. Richard Fulham on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court. He was released after posting $75 bail. 

Thomas Lacey, 47, from Essex St. in Middletown, was arrested on August 7 by Ptl. Richard Fulham on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court and for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting $1,329 bail.

Arthur Tanskiy, 23, from Alta Vista Court in Holmdel arrested on July 6 by Cpl. Patricia Colangelo on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $250 bail.

Shannon Lecomte, 29, from Navesink Ave. in Middletown, was arrested on August 6 by Ptl. James Beirne and Ptl. Adam Colfer of the Quality of Life Unit and charged with possession of heroin, obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest, aggravated assault on a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $30,000 bail set Judge Richard Thompson.

Corey Blascak, 20, from Ironwood Court in Middletown, was arrested on August 6 by Ptl. Christian Clark for simple assault. He was released pending a court date.

Francisco Leon, 34, from River Road in Roosevelt Island, NY, was arrested on August 7 by Ptl.  Anthony Bumbico for shoplifting from the Sears store. He was released pending a court date. 

Stephen Achille, 30, from Rose St. in Middletown, was arrested on August 8 by Ptl. Raymond Sofield for Criminal Trespass. He was released after posting $5,000 bail with a 10% option. 

Henrick Hartsgrove, 48, from Center Ave. in Keansburg was arrested on August 7 by Det. Daniel Sullivan for theft. He was released pending a court date. 

Roberto Funes, 40, from Route 300 in Newburg, NY, was arrested on August 7 by Cpl. Robert McNair on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $1,000 bail.

On August 7, Ptl.  Christian Clark arrested a 16 year-old male juvenile from Keansburg for aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm (Airsoft Gun), and possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose (Airsoft Gun). He was released pending court date.

Levys Sotomayor, 29, from Monmouth Parkway in Middletown, was arrested on August 7 by Ptl. Brady Carr on contempt of court warrants issued by the Old Bridge and Keansburg Municipal Courts. He was held on $439 bail.

Garry Austin, 33, from Oregon Ave. in Hazlet arrested on August 8 by Ptl. Adam Colfer and Ptl.  James Beirne of the Quality of Life Unit for obstructing the administration of law and on contempt of court warrants issued by the Holmdel, Sayreville, West Long Branch and Edison Municipal Courts and two failure to appear warrants issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $53,878 bail.

James Guiney, 33, from Colby Lane in Hazlet arrested on August 8 by Ptl. Anthony Bumbico on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Municipal Court. He was released after posting $1,000 bail.

Hasib Coleman, 28, from Navesink Ave. in Highlands arrested on August 8 by Ptl. Christopher Dee on contempt of court warrants issued by the Middletown and Holmdel Municipal Courts. He was released after posting $1,898 bail.

Daniel Rusignuolo, 18, from Carpenter St. in River Plaza arrested on August 8 by Det. Laurence Schachtel and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released pending a court date. 

Shae Goodwin, 23, from Keystone Drive in Atlantic Highlands was arrested on August 8 by Cpl. George Freibott on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. She was released after posting $1,000 bail. 

Kimberly Kowall, 43, from Creek Road in Port Monmouth was arrested on August 8 by Det. Sergeant Jeffrey Barner and charged with writing bad checks. She was released pending a court date.

James Koenig, 55, from Brainard Ave. in Port Monmouth was arrested on August 8 by Cpl. Thomas Meckier on a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $6,913 bail.

On August 9, Ptl. Anthony Bumbico arrested a 16 year-old male juvenile from Belford for shoplifting from the WAWA store. He was released pending a court date.

On August 8, Ptl. Keith Hirschbein arrested a 15 year-old male juvenile from Keansburg for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. He was released pending a court date.

James Oliver, 33, from Montana Ave. in Port Monmouth was arrested on August 8 by Ptl. Brady Carr for criminal mischief. He was released pending a court date.

Ronald Rothmund, 24, from 13th St. in West Keansburg was arrested on August 9 by Ptl.  Keith Hirschbein for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

Connor Carr, 20, from Route 36 in Leonardo arrested on August 9 by Ptl. Keith Hirschbein for unlawful possession of Xanax. He was released pending a court date.

Debra Shopp, 42, from Campbell Ave. in Port Monmouth arrested on August 9 by Ptl. Ryan Riffert for aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. She was released after posting $15,000 bail.

Adam Stranges, 20, from Sandy Hook Ave. in Belford was arrested on August 9 by Ptl. Richard Raike on a failure to appear warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. He was held on $7,500 bail.

On August 9 Ptl.  James Beirne and Ptl. Adam Colfer of the Quality of Life Unit arrested a 17 year-old male juvenile from Navesink for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court date.

Stephanie Opachinski, 18, from Clubhouse Drive in Middletown, was arrested on August 9 by Ptl.  Frank Mazza and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released pending a court date.

Maggie Edmonston, 27, from Prospect Ave. in Atlantic Highlands was arrested on August 9 by Police Officer Larisa Doriety for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court date.
